Sixth Graders Learn to Run a Town
PWMS sixth graders have been participating in the Junior Achievement Biz Town program. Biz Town is a kid-sized city in Maplewood, Minnesota. The students have been learning how to run a business, manage a checkbook, and work in groups. Each student "applied" for a job such as mayor, shopkeeper, etc. and was interviewed by an MSU-M student.  Successful interviewees will actually live their roles and try to run a successful community during a field trip to Biz Town.
